What is PromptKosh?
PromptKosh is an India-first library of tested AI photo prompts. Every public prompt shows the image it produced and is available to copy in full.
Are PromptKosh prompts free?
Yes. Prompt text is free to browse, personalise, and copy. There is no prompt paywall.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to browse or copy prompts. You only need to sign in if you want to publish a prompt or use an account-only feature.
How do I use a PromptKosh prompt?
Open a prompt, check the example image, fill in any optional blanks for details such as an outfit or city, copy the finished text, then paste it into the image tool you use.
Which AI tools can I use?
The prompts are written as plain text, so you can adapt them for Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok, Midjourney, or another compatible image tool. Results will vary by model and your source image.
Can I generate images on PromptKosh?
Not yet. On-site generation is currently switched off. PromptKosh helps you find and copy a tested prompt for the AI tool you already use.
Where do the example images and prompts come from?
PromptKosh publishes creator prompts and an attributed imported collection. Each prompt page identifies its source when source information is available.
What makes a good source photo for a portrait prompt?
Use a clear, well-lit photo with an unobstructed face and minimal blur. Avoid heavy filters, screenshots, tiny crops, and crowded group photos when identity matters.
Is my photo uploaded to PromptKosh when I copy a prompt?
No. Copying a prompt does not require an image upload. The free LinkedIn Photo Grader analyses your photo locally in your browser and does not upload it to PromptKosh.
Can I publish a prompt?
Yes. Sign in and submit the prompt text, an example image, and useful style details. Public prompts can help other visitors find an approach that already works.
